"For a cheerful San Diego vibe, consider 'California Dreamin'' by The Mamas & The Papas, or 'Santeria' by Sublime for a more laid-back feel. If they love jazz, 'Route 66' by Nat King Cole could be a classic addition suitable for a celebration at The Prado in Balboa Park."
"Picture this: a sequence of photos from childhood in black and white, transitioning to vibrant color photos of them at Mission Beach in the 70s, culminating in recent family photos from a gathering at a restaurant in Old Town San Diego, all set to 'Good Day Sunshine' by The Beatles. Length: 7 minutes, 80 photos, 3 video clips."
"Imagine a grandchild narrating over a photo of their grandparent by the Coronado Bridge: 'Grandpa always told us stories about fishing here, and how beautiful the city lights looked at night.' This adds a deeply personal touch that resonates with everyone."
Most 70th birthday slideshows run about 6 minutes for a 70th — roughly 10 photos per decade at about 5 seconds per photo.
